Papa's Birthday

My dad's birthday was December 23rd and we all got together to celebrate him turning 64!

Reagan and Papa sharing a special moment together.
He also got his Colts jersey as a gift. Go Colts!!

Claire is helping pass out gifts (and opening them)!!

Megan and Kimberly checking out what Papa got. I think it was some new tee shirts.

We, the Blocher's, got my dad a wren birdhouse and birdseed. My dad always likes to guess what the gift is. At first he wasn't sure what the birdseed was. Michael said "It's birdseed" and my dad said "No, it's not birdseed". Well, we were all waiting to see what the final guess was going to be when Reagan says " Yes, it IS birdseed". So, when he opened it there was the birdseed. Of course she knew what it was because she helped me wrap it. We all laughed because she told Papa what it was before he opened.

Meeting my "Texas" cousins for the very first time!!!

My sister, Kim, and her family came in town for Christmas. It was the first time they met Christian in person. They have seen pictures and heard him on the phone. We were all so excited that they finally got to meet each other. They couldn't believe how big he is and how cute, too!

The "boy" cousins. We had to take a picture of just the "boys" because there are SOO many girls in my family. If you start counting down from my mom and dad to Christian, there are 10 girls to 3 boys (not including the husbands). There is a lot of estrogen in this family!!!

Santa's Apprentice

Here are a few pictures of Santa's newest apprentice in training.!!!
I think Christian is too cute in his "Santa" hat.

I love this smile!! Doesn't it light up the room?!

Santa's Visit and Rudolph, too!!!

We usually go to my parents and spend the night Christmas Eve along with my two sisters and their families. When we all stay at my parents there are over 15 people opening presents. As you can imagine, it is very hectic!! So, this year Todd and I decided to stay at our own house and spend the morning with our kids. Santa Claus found us at our home and Rudolph, too!

The kids got all kinds of great things! They got an easel, dress up clothes, trucks, stuffed animals, a tent, baby doll accessories, puzzles, books, playdoh, blocks, tool bench and so much more. We also know that Rudolph was here because we sprinkled reindeer food in the front yard and when we went outside there was a half eaten carrot and three bells he dropped while eating. Reagan thought that was so cool!!!

Claire loved the Leap Frog Farm for the frig and the three musketeers candy!
Christian is just staying out of harms way and playing with his own toys.

The girls had to play with the playdoh first. I think they got over 40 cans!! We are set for a long time in the playdoh department. Reagan got her first handheld video game of Dora. She is learning how to play so quick!!

Sleepy Head

I thought Claire was so sweet with her hands under her head while she was napping. This is a rare moment of peace for Claire. Miss Claire NEVER stops for a minute while she is awake! She definitely has the "middle child syndrome"!!

The scratch between Claire's eyes is from knocking over the Christmas tree in their room. That is Claire for you...

Christian Lewis - Four months

Christian turned four months old last week. I cannot believe how fast time is going... He is doing lots of new things: He loves to chew on his hands, he found his feet and is always grabbing onto them and likes to hold onto his toys. Christian is the happiest baby ever! He is ALWAYS talking and smiling, he loves his big sisters and loves to sit and watch them. Most of all, Christian LOVES his food. He likes his cereal, fruit and veggies. Todd and I always have the camera ready for a funny face when we try a new food but he just eats a bite and is ready for the next one. The biggest thing he is doing is ROLLING OVER!! No more letting him nap on the couch. When we went to the doctor he weighed 16 1/2 pounds. He is a growing boy!!
One of the things I love best is when he sees me... The smile he has lights up the room and my heart!!
