Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas from all of us to all of you!!!!

The blessing......

Every night we say the blessing and hold hands as a family. Recently, Reagan has been very concerned about the "people and animals" we know in heaven. She has requested that we pray for them, too. God love her little heart:) So, the other night I waited for Todd and Brandon to get back from an errand to finish dinner and eat. The other three were ready to eat so I went ahead and fed them first. I asked Reagan to say the blessing since she has now learned it herself. I had to sneak a couple photos because Reagan and Claire were so sweet!!!

Claire and Reagan holding hands as Reagan is saying the blessing. As you can see, Claire had to see what I was doing.

Reagan concentrating on saying the blessing...

Claire waiting patiently for her to be done....

Claire doing, "Father Son Holy Spirit, Amen". Christian also does it in his own way, Isn't that awesome?!?!
Here is the blessing that we say every night:
God is great
God is good
Thank you for our food
Please watch over our family and friends
Hunter, Haley and Tigger
Granddaddy and Grandma Angle
Amen

NEGLECT, I am sorry.........

OK, I admit that I have been neglecting our blog!!! Please be patient with me....... As before, it is still CRAZY around here and now we have thrown Christmas into the mix of it all. Todd is still unemployed at this time. We need all the prayers we can get!!! The kiddos are so exited for the Murphy's to get here from Texas. And, of course, SANTA. I have some new pics that I promise promise promise to post this weekend.

Happy Holidays!

Bye Bye Bottles.....

It is official, we are done with baby bottles forever and ever..... Claire and Christian had their last bottles about two and a half weeks ago. It is very bittersweet for me because I am glad to be past that stage but I also know we won't have any more babies to feed:( We have been buying diapers for almost five years, ugh! We have had two kiddos taking a bottle and in diapers for the past 2 1/2+ years (hopefully Claire will get the potty training down pat SOON). Can you believe that??? Neither can we! It has been tough at times but we would not change one second of it for the world!!!!!!!

Lost but not forgotten.....

I have not forgotten about my blog...... It has been really crazy around here the past couple of weeks. Todd lost his job two and a half weeks ago. Please pray that he is able to find a new job before X-mas. Christian was sick (again, poor little guy!!) with an ear infection and breathing issues but luckily we caught it in time that we did not have to spend another week in the hospital this year, two hospital stays was more than enough this year! We had to put our cat, Tigger, asleep due to health and age issues. He was over 18 years old and his age was getting the best off him. Then I went to Kentucky for the auction of my grandparents estate and property. It was very sad to see the farm for the very last time while it was still in our family:(
I promise to post some new pics of the kiddos sometime this week!!!

Black and White Photos

I love my three children more than ANYTHING in this world and I love pictures (almost as much). Pictures to me, are a memory of "that exact moment in time" you want to remember and treasure forever. If you have ever been to my house, you know this for a fact. I have pictures EVERYWHERE!! I love black and white, color, old and new, every shape and size. So, I was up late last night because I couldn't sleep (AGAIN!) and started fiddling with some of the pictures from the post below. And this is what I came up with....

I hope you enjoyed my "editing" and babies as much as I do!!!

Enjoying a sunny day.....

The kids and I have been taking advantage of this warm weather as much as we can the past few days. I took my love for my kids and camera and tried to combine the two. I hope you enjoying them as much as I do....

The Trio.....

Reagan, Christian and Claire

Christian Lewis..... who is going a mile a minute, giving kisses and still LOVES to eat!

Claire Marie..... who is talking up a storm, being very independent on everything, and LOVES her books and baby dolls!!!

Reagan Leeanne...... who is growing up WAAAY to fast, writing her name and numbers and LOVES Scooby Doo!!!

My Babies..........................

And I have not forgotten about Libby.....

HALLOWEEN NIGHT...............

Happy Halloween (a bit late)!!!!

Introducing my little fairy, Claire, my pumpkin, Christian and Daphne (from Scooby Doo), Reagan...

The whole group of "trick or treaters" before we headed out....

Claire was so excited and knew just what to do at each house and was very polite by saying, "Thank You" and "Halloween", her version of Happy Halloween.

Reagan fought over wearing her wig but we finally got it on her with about 10 bobby pins....
She showed Claire and Christian what to do when we first started out.

Christian was hilarious... He never once tried to take the hat of his pumpkin off, he loved going up to the doors and would get mad if we did not take him out of the wagon, and wanted to eat ALL the candy right then and there.

Here's a few pictures of them all checking out their stash...

I had to take this picture because Christian was trying to eat a Snickers bar thru the wrapper...

(Christian did get his hair cut to night, about 3 months too late:o) )

Another trip to the pumpkin patch....

Reagan and I made another trip to Waterman's for her school field trip last week. We had a great time with her class and some her and I "time". It was FREEZING on the day went so we are bundled up with our gloves, hats and winter coats. I think that we got pumpkin #8 while we were there. And, yes, this was our final trip to Waterman's this season:o)

Reagan and her class from Holy Spirit Catholic School. Reagan is on the far right in the purple coat (hidden in the shadows).

Reagan with her pink nose....

Enjoying our time together on the hayride out to the pumpkin patch.

Reagan and her friend, Joseph.

Reagan with her "special" pumpkin. We carved a bat into this pumpkin with the kids I babysit for. You can see the final "product" in the post below.

Jack-O-Lantern's....

We got around to carving our Jack-O-Lantern's today. We started out first by carving a small one with the kids I babysit for then ended the day by doing our BIG ones. I think over the past two weeks we have gotten eight (yes, eight!) pumpkins. And by no means, am I carving all of them!!

The pictures below are from today with all the little ones. Some of them enjoyed it for.... about a whole five minutes then were off playing a game. A couple wanted to help and others had nothing to do with touching the insides. They all decided they wanted a "bat" carved. Lucky me!!!

Luke had no problem sticking his hand inside...

And Emma had NOTHING to do with sticking her hand inside no matter what Reagan tried to say....

Christian had a blast sticking his head inside (or at least trying to) and yelling as loud as he could.....

Now, here are the ones from tonight. What a difference from earlier today... I guess today some kiddos had better things to "play" than to sit and watch me. But tonight..... they all three had to be on top of the table, right in the middle of everything I was doing!! With that said, I came upon the conclusion that whoever decided pumpkins should be carved, did not 1) have three children ages four to one and 2) they had help. So, I called for backup; Lisa, Kimberly and Madeleine came to give me a hand before I went "mad". The kids had "goo" EVERYWHERE!!! My table, floor, walls, door handles, themselves and places you could only think of had "goo" on it or in it. See why I came to my conclusion?? Anyway, we got the two BIG pumpkins carved, everyone and everything cleaned up and I didn't go "mad". I guess the old saying is true, "It takes a village to raise a child". That was so true tonight....

Christian loved sticking the spoon inside and decided that pumpkin rinds don't taste too bad:)

Everytime Reagan pulled some "goo" out she would say, "Yuck!" or "This is awesome!".

We thought we might lose Claire in this pumpkin. She is trying to clean out the bottom and the pumpkin is soo big and she is soo tiny that we thought her whole body was going in....

My "backup" (Kimberly) helping out with the second pumpkin. I never would have made it to that one if I had to do it all by myself, THANK YOU, Kimberly!! And Lisa for giving baths and Madeliene for picking out the seeds to toast!!!

Our final products... Nothing too fancy but that is OK. The kids LOVED them and that is the most important thing!!

All clean and happy....
Whew, what a day!!!!

My "Little" Man...

I took this picture of Christian last night at my mom and dad's. As I was looking at it, it suddenly hit me that I no longer have any "babies" in my house. Christian has now become my "little" man. Who would have thought I could love such a little thing so much....????

Waterman's Farm Market

We took our annual trip to Waterman's Farm Market last weekend. The kids had a blast seeing and doing all the activities they had. And of course, taking the hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick out their very own pumpkin.

One of their favorite things to see... the pumpkin smashing dino.

Daddy and baby girl, Claire, having fun...

They all loved climbing in the "straw"...

Daddy and his girls....

The hayride back after we picked out all SIX pumpkins!!!

Mommy and Reagan relaxing together...

Daddy and all his "babies"...

Reagan lovin' life...

Christian also liked to "taste" the straw and we found it EVERYWHERE...

Claire actually smiling for the camera and showing off a bit, too!!!

And my girl, Reagan, who LOVES the camera...

Mama and her babies....

The girls could not decide which pumpkin or size they wanted....

Reagan choose a small one and carried Christian's pumpkin for him.

Claire wanted this pumpkin first but ended up getting a small one. And, as you can see, she was tired of the camera in her face:):)

This is the pumpkin that Christian "REALLY" wanted but we told him that he had to be able to carry it. After a lot of effort of trying to pick it up, he got a small pumpkin that he can carry around.
