FALL

The kids and I spent a nice afternoon up at Papa and Me's. We picked veggies, pumpkins, cut corn stalks, pulled flowers and rode bikes. Papa planted TONS of pumpkins this year for the kids. We decided NOT to go to the pumkin patch because we got 15 pumpkins from Papa!!! He planted a new kind of pumpkin... it is called a "blue" pumpkin. I think he did it for the Colts, ha!!

Fall Hair Cuts....

Reagan and Claire have been wanting to get their hair cut for a long time. Todd and I finally gave in and let them get it ALL cut off! My friend, Karen, came over to our house and gave the girls their new "do's".

Claire's First Day of Preschool

Claire has started preschool at Holy Spirit this year. She goes two days a week. Calire is slowly starting to like it :) Reagan was very proud to take her to the open house to show her around the classroom. Good Luck Miss Claire!!!

Reagan's First Day of Kindergarten

Miss Reagan Leeanne started kindergarten last week. She is going to the school down the street from us and gets to ride the bus EVERY day!! Reagan LOVES going to school, taking her lunch and riding the bus. We wave to each other and do the sign language sign for " I love you" every morning when she gets on the bus. Believe it or not but no tears were shed when she left the first day on the big yellow bus. It does make my heart skip a beat or two when I see her going off to school and entering the big world. But she is sooo happy and enjoying school sooo much that it out weighs the tears I hold back.

I look at these pictures and wonder where my baby girl went... and who this "little" lady is?? And how could time go so fast??? Love you, Reagan Leeanne!

Christian's BIG BOY Bed

We switched Christian from his crib to a big boy bed a couple weeks ago. He has done a GREAT job with the transition!!!


His first set of sheets are John Deere.... He LOVES the tractors just like his Pawpaw in heaven:)

San Antonio, Texas

The kids and I flew (yes, just me and the kids!) to Texas to visit the Murphy's for a few days. Alecia graduated from UTSA in May and Michael graduated from high school in June. We went down there for their "double" graduation party. We had a BLAST getting to visit with the Murphy's, Strattman's, Hill's, Angle's, Cox's and friends of the Murphy's. The weather was H~O~T as usual !!! But none the less, we still had a good time:) Can't wait for our next visit to Texas!!!!

Alecia ~ the college graduate ~ and I. It looks like I am taller than her but really I am NOT! As you know, I am super short, ha!!!

The "Buds" of the family ~ Christian and Michael ~ the high school graduate.

Reagan and Megan ~ the "rhyming" cousins, ha!! Or as Reagan calls her~the "short"one and Alecia is the "long" one. She knows WHO they are but gets confused on the names since we do not see them but twice a year. It is hilarious to hear Reagan call them by the "long and short ones".

This little critter came to sleep, in this plant, on Kim's front porch EVERY night!! Wonder if he is still there....????

On our last day in San Antonio Alecia and Megan took us to the Quadrangle at Fort Sam Houston. We took carrots and bird seed to feed the animals. The little ones LOVED it!!

The deer would come right up to us and eat out of our hands. How cool is that???

The peacocks roamed around free, too! They were even up in the trees!!

Thanks Murphy's for letting the kids and I come down!!! We had a blast and as usual it was not enough time or enough pictures taken. See you in August!!!
