San Antonio, Texas

Christian and I went to visit my sister, Kim and her family in San Antonio, Texas last weekend. We went down there to see one of Michael's football games since he is a senior in high school this year. Christian was a BIG hit down there.... All of their friends loved him, too! He was a real trooper staying up WAY past his bedtime, traveling on the plane (his first plane ride), shopping and getting totted here and there all weekend. We had a awesome trip and are so proud of Michael!!

Christian LOVED looking out the window and pulling the shade up and down a thousand times...

Can you tell he is a proud little boy sitting in the seat by himself (only for a minute, he rode in my lap)???

The O'Connor Panthers football team running threw the banner before the game...

The "captains" walking to center field holding hands.... Michael is #34.

This is during the national anthem...

Christian and his cousin, Alecia, who are proudly supporting the O'Connor Panthers team...
He kept saying, "GO GO GO" and would hold up his little arm!!

Christian and I with cousins, Megan (left) and Alecia....

A victory for the Panthers, YEAH!!!!

This is taken in front of a mall in San Antonio. They are two HUGE boots... I guess some things are bigger in Texas.

Christian with a cactus... He loved the rocks he was sitting on.

A late dinner one evening... Can you tell he was a little sleepy???

The youngest and oldest "boys" in our family... I love taking these kinds of pictures!

Christian with his cousin, Michael.

Christian LOVES to feed people. This was our late lunch on Sunday before we had to go home.

Thanks Murphy's for letting Christian and I come for a quick visit. We had a blast and loved seeing you all an extra time this year!!!

First Pigtails

Miss Claire's hair has FINALLY gotten long enough that I was able to put it up in pigtails for the first time. She was so cute walking around and she knew it, too!! Poor little thing just doesn't have the head of hair that I have and Reagan and Christian, too. That may be a good thing when she gets older because she won't have to battle it like I do:)

Is this not the most precious face you've ever seen???
God, how I love her....

ESSA Soccer - Reagan

Reagan started her first year of soccer at ESSA last week. She has been wanting to play for a couple years now and was so excited to play! Once we got there she became a little overwhelmed with all that was going on and "didn't like it anymore". So, we took her to practice with the age group below her and she seemed to catch on better and enjoyed it. I was not able to go to this past Saturday's game but Todd said she did MUCH better!! I will be in Texas for this coming weekend's game (YEAH!!!), so I'll have more pictures in a couple of weeks.

Reagan, and her friend Madelyn, doing some warm up practice. Reagan is #0.

"A picture is worth a thousand words"

Never a dull moment in our house as long as Reagan, Claire and Christian are around. But mostly, just Claire and Christian... they are DOUBLE TROUBLE!!! See for yourself:

(Yes, Miss Claire has decided she needs a pacifier - two years of NOT having one. We're not sure how to handle this yet since Christian DOES take a pacifier.)

Claire was gone in a blink of an eye... She got into the travel size toothpaste!! Needless to say, she got a bath immediately.

A "bag lady" just like me, or so I'm told (HA!).

Claire's First Day of School

Today was Claire's first day of school, EVER!!! Claire is going to Old Bethel Weekday School one day a week. She was soo excited and wore her backpack for the past two days (all day long)!!! And she actually smiled for the camera, which in itself is a miracle:) She did really well walking in with her backpack on (god love her...), hanging her backpack on her hook and going into the class but then when a couple of the other kids started crying she was a little unsure. Now, mind you, that this is the first time Claire has NOT been with our family or close friends. So, I quickly told her that I had to go and would be back to get her. Believe it or not, I did not cry.... Then when I picked her up she had been crying and cried the whole time I was gone. Now, I felt horrible!!! I almost broke down bawling there in the middle of the hallway, I felt so bad for her!!! But I do think the other kids might have got her emotions going a bit. I am thinking positive and know that she will have her best friend, Audrey, with her next week. So, everyone cross your fingers and say a prayer for her and me:):)

Showing off her backpack...

She was SO very proud....

Her backpack is almost bigger than she is, Ha!!

Getting ready to walk out the door....

Climbing up into the truck with her backpack STILL on....

I cannot believe that my sweet little 4.7lb baby girl is starting preschool. Someone please tell me why time has to fly by so fast for a "MOM"??? I am so excited for her but my heart aches a bit that she is out there in this world we live in and I will not be able to shelter her under my wings. But I guess it is her time to fly (just a bit) and we just have to guide her the best we can.

Reagan's First Day of School

Reagan started back at Holy Spirit Catholic School last week. She seemed to really enjoy preschool and had fun telling me what all they did. I cannot believe my first born is starting her third year of preschool. And then will be in kindergarten next year!! Time goes by so fast....

Getting ready for school, She had a shower and then dressed herself so she would be fresh and clean!

Reagan chose to have pancakes her first day and said they were "YUMMY"!!!!

Blowing me a kiss goodbye...

Showing off her backpack one more time....

Taking the LONG walk (for me) out to Aunt Lisa's truck...

Finally, one last shot for the camera before they pulled away.
