Christian's "boo boo"

Here are some pictures I have taken the past couple of days while Christian has been in the hospital.... Our hearts just go out to the little fellow and pray he has a fast recovery.

This was on Sunday evening after they admitted him to the Pediatric Unit at Community Hospital North. They taped the IV to his arm so he could not pull it out.

Here is his "boo boo". It is about three inches long.

Christian resting with the stuffed animal his Aunt Lisa brought him for when he is feeling better.

Here is the full view with all his tubes and wires. He even has a glowing red toe (to check his oxygen level).

Christian is doing well and still on the morphine and resting. They hope to start clear liquids tomorrow and then the bottle on Friday. I will try to keep posting updates for everyone to follow.
Please say a little prayer for our little man!!

Claire Marie......

I have captured a few of Claire's "moments" the past couple of days to share with everyone...

Claire refusing to sit at the table to eat. So, she climbed up and into the highchair...

I came around the corner and found Claire on the kitchen counter. I still have no idea how she got up there....

Claire giving herself a new "paint" job. She has learned that the dry erase markers just wash right off with soap. So, now she loves to color her nails and hands and feet. I did put them up high incase your wondering!

This is breakfast in the family room sitting in a booster seat on the floor with her plate on the couch...

And finally, Claire climbing over the gate. As you can see, she got a little scared midpoint of her adventure over. Mom came to the rescue (after I got the picture)!!
These are just a few of her "moments" in any given day. Claire keeps us very busy and on our toes!! But we love her so very much (and she knows it) that she knows she gets away with way more than she should.

9 months old plus a few weeks

Mr. Christian Lewis turned nine months old on May 2nd! We went last week to the doctor for his checkup and shots. Christian weighed in at 22.8 lbs (70%) and 28 inches (50%). Needless to say, he is a big boy!! He loves food and wants table food more and more. He loves bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peas, green beans, carrots, pancakes and the list goes on and on. No picky eaters in this family, THANK GOODNESS! He also has six teeth and numbers seven and eight will be popping through any minute now. Now that he is pulling up we are finding him in all kinds of places. Just see for yourself...

Christian on the girls easel

Climbing up into his old car seat

Laying in the basket of toys

What a happy little boy he is:)

This is what eating looks like these days with Christian... As you can see it is very messy and in the hair, Yuck! But he's lovin' it and so are we!!

Warren Little League Tee Ball

Reagan started her tee ball season this week. And, so has the hectic schedule of being a parent of a ball player!!! Reagan is #5 for the Orioles this season. She has done really well in practice and continues to do well in her games. We are really impressed at how well she is doing for her first season playing ball.

Reagan is waiting for her other teammates to arrive and deliver her game shirt that they had her name printed on the back. Don't you love the bright orange and black??

All suited up in her "game" gear... (Nice socks, huh? They go up past her knees!)

Batters up.... Getting ready for her first hit of the season! They do five pitches then bring out the "tee" if needed. Reagan is doing about half and half, which is GREAT for her first season and being only four years old.

First base.... Can you tell she was excited?? The girls on the team are doing really well considering they are "girls" and are four to six years old. They do get a little excited and tend to lose interest when they are in the outfield (they pick the dandelions, ha!) but they are having fun and that is what this is all about. We will keep you posted as the season moves along.....

Cookie Cutter Hair "Do's"

We took Christian and Reagan to Cookie Cutters this past week for hair cuts. They did an awesome job!! They both look so grown up now... Next time we will take Miss Claire to get her a new "do" but then again maybe not because it would take off her sweet little curls she has in the back. We'll see....

Here is Christian before and during his trim. He did so good!! He just smiled the whole time!!

Our handsome little man.... He looks so much bigger now that we got his hair out of his eyes. They saved some of the hair they cut off to cut in his baby book for his "First Hair Cut".
***A quick nine month old update: Christian just cut his fifth tooth, he is pulling up on things, babbling up a storm (just like his mama and sisters!), LOVES to play and dance at his baby piano, LOVES to get into the toilet paper roll if we forget to close the bathroom door (yuck!) and just as happy as ever!

This is Reagan's hair before they started cutting away and the pile they cut off. They cut off about 8 inches. Her hair grows SO fast! In the past year we have had over a foot cut off NOT including this hair cut. We were going to donate this hair cut to "Locks for Love" but it wasn't long enough and we really didn't want to go any shorter then what we did. Maybe next time...

And Reagan's final product.... She really likes having her hair shorter and it is SO much easier for me to maintain. She is very stylish with her new "bob" hair cut!!
